Inside BODA Gems laboratories, gemstones emerge from advanced growth chambers under conditions of extreme scientific precision — replicating geological forces that nature takes millions of years to complete.
Used for sapphires, rubies, and emeralds. High-pressure, high-temperature aqueous solutions dissolve and recrystallize aluminium oxide around seed crystals, mimicking deep-Earth conditions over 6–9 months. Produces stones with exceptional clarity and natural-like inclusions.
Chemical Vapour Deposition — used for our Type IIA lab diamonds and specialty stones. Carbon-rich gas is introduced into a vacuum chamber and plasma-activated, depositing pure carbon atom by atom onto a diamond seed crystal at precisely controlled temperatures. Results in D–F colour, Type IIA purity.
Each stone passes through six rigorous stages before it ever reaches a jeweler's hand. Total production time: 6–9 months per batch.
